Effect of Lumina laser weeder in late sown carrots with very high weed density. One week after treatment versus an untreated adjacent field of carrot plants recently seeded. The rain fell over the seeding preventing the farmer to be quick enough to prevent weeds with a traditional method, a flame weeder, causing the weeds to grow much higher than normal. The untreated field shows weeeds of considrable altitude and deeper roots, whereas the field treated with laser shows a much slower growth of weeds, even after just one treatment. |
